24LB R404A (R-404A) Refrigerant Gas

R404A is a blended HFC refrigerant long used in commercial refrigeration applications, especially in low- and medium-temperature systems such as supermarket freezer cases, display cases, transport refrigeration, and ice machines. Developed as a non-ozone-depleting alternative to older refrigerants such as R502, it became widely adopted for systems requiring reliable low-temperature performance. Although its high GWP has led to increasing regulatory pressure in many markets, R404A continues to be seen in existing equipment and remains important in the service, repair, and ongoing maintenance of compatible refrigeration systems already in operation.
